As a part of their curriculum, the MBBS students from Dr. N. Y. Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science visited a residential school for mentally retarded children at Chinchavli village in Karjat taluka on February 23, 2024.

On February 22, 2024, the MBBS students of NYTIMS visited the water filter project of the Karjat Municipal Corporation. They observed the installation and operation of the water purification units, and learned about the benefits of clean drinking water for the health of the citizens.
